Introducing "Mindful GI," a thoughtfully crafted formula designed to support gastrointestinal health and promote mindfulness. Mindful GI combines the power of Digexin®, a microbiome Ingredient Idol award winner by Natural Products Insider, along with additional key nutrients to nurture both your gut and your mind.

Hippocrates, who is considered the father of modern medicine, once said “all disease begins in the gut”[i]. While this is not 100% true, it is estimated that 70% of our immune system reside in the gastrointestinal tract and, while maybe not all, but a significant amount of chronic metabolic diseases are in fact closely correlated to gut health.[ii]

Further, there is a close connection between the gut and the brain, often referred to as the Gut-Brain Axis. This bidirectional communication system plays an important role in mediating total body health and wellness by connecting the 100 billion neurons in the brain with the 500 million neurons in the gut, often along the vagus nerve.[iii]

Let’s take a closer look at the ingredients in this innovative product!

Each vegetarian capsule includes:

Digexin® (300mg) – This clinically proven, highly effective proprietary blend of Ashwagandha and Okra extracts addresses distress from both ends of the Gut-Brain axis. As digestive issues often stem from factors of the brain, such as stress, poor sleep, and occasional anxiety, Digexin® both soothes troubled GI tracts and calms frayed nerves, providing holistic relief for GI distress.

In multiple gold standard (double-blind, randomized, placebo controlled) clinical studies Digexin® has shown significant improvements with constipation management, restoring regularity, soothing the entire GI tract from top to bottom aiding with reflux, indigestion, abdominal pain and bloating, and supporting healthy sleep habits, stress management and mental fatigue. Digexin® was also shown to improve physiological biomarkers related to digestion and mental wellness, including increase serotonin and gastric levels and decrease cortisol levels, all leading to substantial improvements in quality of life. Albion® TRAACS® Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate (100mg – providing 10mg magnesium) - Magnesium plays a critical role in more than 300 enzymatic reactions in our bodies, including energy production, nerve signaling, blood sugar metabolism, anti-inflammatory systems and bone formation and homeostasis[vii], [viii]. Magnesium has also been associated with optimal sleep habits, improved mood, and brain health.[ix],[x]

Magnesium bisglycinate, from Ablion® TRAACS®, is renowned for its high bioavailability.  Unlike magnesium oxide, magnesium bisglycinate is gentle on the stomach, providing optimal absorption with a calming effect, and without digestive discomfort!

L-Glutamine (100mg) –L-Glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid important for immune system and intestinal health.[xi] In fact, it supports the lining of the whole gastrointestinal tract, promoting intestinal barrier function, while protecting against permeability of the mucosal barrier, which has been attributed to numerous digestive disorders such as leaky gut[xii], [xiii]. By promoting gut integrity, L-Glutamine helps maintain digestive health and function, fostering overall wellness.

L-Acidophilus (1 billion CFU) –Mindful GI is enriched with L-acidophilus, delivering 1 billion colony-forming units (CFU) of this beneficial probiotic strain. L-acidophilus contributes to the restoration and maintenance of a healthy gut microbiome, supporting optimal gut health and digestion. It is known to ease bloating, abdominal pain, and altered bowel habits. [xiv], [xv], [xvi], [xvii] This beneficial probiotic can promote the growth of good bacteria, helping to restore a natural balance within your body, while providing regularity to your digestive system.[xviii], [xix]

If you’ve ever experienced butterflies in your stomach before a big presentation than you know this gut-brain connection is real! While medical knowledge has advanced since the times of Hippocrates (roughly 2400 years ago!) the science remains the same, a healthy gut for a healthy mind and a healthy mind for a healthy gut!

Experience the holistic support of Mindful GI, designed to nourish your gut and cultivate mindfulness for a healthier, happier you.
